Hi, lovelies! It’s me, Helena,🙈 I know! I know!🤷🏻♀️ Where have I been? What have I been up too?🤦🏻♀️Ugh, the shame, the shame I have for not being on here. Let me tell you, life’s been really crazy lately.
What’s happening in life?
Well, I was in the hospital for a few, for some medical issues. My mental health has been a constant up and down battle, which I’m trying to get under control. Then works been crazy, none stop and to put me in a more of a horrible mood, winter didn’t appear to want to leave.😭 But the worse of it all is that I haven’t been able to pick up a book in weeks or visit my favorite blogs. 😞
Every time I do pick up a book, I over think everything and every little thing in the story or characters piss me off, so I don’t read. I don’t like to rate a book based on my miserable mood you know!😫 I also haven’t gone on my computer for weeks, which is where I do all my commenting on my favorite blogs. I’m so sorry that I haven’t been around, I promise to visit you lovelies asap.
At least the good part of my life is that I redid my blog theme!😁😍 I needed a change, brighter and airy feel, hope you lovelies like it. I have also been messing with my camera lately📸. Which definitely puts me in great spirits. I love taking pictures, ever since High school, it’s been a passion of mine ever since. I stopped messing with it because of my mental health, sometimes you start to lose interest in things you love and things get pushed back and out of your mind for a bit.😞 But I’m trying to battle my illness and take care of myself and get back to the things that I adore. I hope I wasn’t away far too long and it’s not too late, I hope you are all still around and loving seeing this blog and its funny shenanigans.😁😍💋
Without further ado here is Aprils Wrap-up, mostly done by my lovely friend and co-blogger Becky!

Reviews on the Blog!
I, of course, didn’t review, since I have the longest book slump.😭 But you can count on my sweet friend and co-blogger Becky, again, for supplying the fabulous reviews for this month.

- Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne is an amazing retelling that once you start to read it you won’t be able to stop! It’s full of mystery, hidden truths, and romance!!!! In other words, A MUST READ! Review by Becky:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our Book Haul!
SO MANY AMAZING BOOKS😍 I honestly can’t believe I got all these books😍 I want to thank Demetra Brodsky for sending me an ARC of her book Dive Smack and Jessica Pennington for sending me an ARC of her book Love Songs & Other Lies!
I attended the North Texas Teen Book Festival in Dallas and I got some of the ARCs that you can see in the picture as well as FC like City Of Bones, Royals, The Unexpected Everything, and Spy School! I really can’t wait to read all these books, what would you recommend me to read first? – Rebeca❤
So these are some of the books that I got this month alone!🤦🏻♀️🙈 I was TOO lazy to take all the books out of my bookshelf.😂 I have my bookshelf set up as a rainbow, 🌈 I have to remember which books I got and that alone would take forever.😂 However, these, particularly Leah on the Off Beat is my most anticipated book of April!!! I haven’t read it yet (slump) but soon, very soon! -Helena💋
Our Best on Instagram!
This department I can attest to being apart of, even if it was just a little. 😂 I know you see a pattern here, don’t you?😂 While I was in the biggest book slump and stuck in the hospital I figured the best thing to keep me in high spirits was Bookstagram. I wasn’t very active on IG before. But I have to say its so much fun, so much more stress-free, for me. I stepped down from Twitter and it has done amazing things for my mental health. IG is so inspiring, with all their beautiful pictures. I can live in IG forever!😂
So here are our best pictures from April!
So that’s our wrap up for April. We hope or at least, I hope to be more active and visit all your beautiful blogs back up again. Hopefully, it will help me get out of this terrible slump and can start reading all the books I have collected over the past few months. 😂
Happy reading beautiful 💋
