Hello everyone, I hope you all have an amazing and wonderful day!
What are you guys planning to read this week?📚 I’m planning to read Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa and Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix by Julie C. Dao!
Today I’m going to be sharing my thoughts about The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tucholke, which is a Fantasy retelling of Beowulf. I’ve heard about this book a few months ago and after I saw the cover I immediately added it to my TBR because it’s absolutely amazing and EPIC!
Frey, Runa, Ovie and Juniper are a Mercy pack. They do what no one else wants to do and they are good at it. But every time they come across someone they turn around because with one look at their cloaks a word comes to their mind… death. Not wanting that for their lives anymore they go on a quest to kill the Blue Vee Beast who would give them what they want, a change in their lives.
The Boneless Mercies is a story filled with magic and fearless characters who wanted to do more with their lives.
They aspired to be remembered in a different way and certainly not only as Mercies. What I liked about this story was the fact that we meet four amazing characters who are capable of doing what they want to do with their lives and they don’t hesitate when something’s set on their minds. I admired them because of the way they never gave up and how little by little they forged their destiny.
While I enjoyed reading this book there were times when the story was a bit slow for me and I almost stopped reading. But I’m glad I kept reading because the ending was perfect!
April introduced me to a new world where everything is possible, once I started to read it I realized this was something different… magical. It is definitely a book you won’t want to miss!
